Founded and directed by legendary Bronx graffiti artist WEN COD, Boone Avenue Walls — now in its twelfth year — continues to bring beauty and intrigue to the borough that birthed graffiti. Pictured above is Will Power‘s artfully rendered portrait of Grammy Award-winner GrandMixer DXT, a segment of a huge production, painted in collaboration with Jason Martinello.

Brimming always with color, craft and attitude, the walls that surface at Hackensack’s Union Street Park — under the curatorial direction of Darrius-Jabbar Sollas — are a graffiti lover’s heaven.
